One of the changes that the Maemo team has made to libgtk breaks cursor positioning after MSCIM registers a non-latin character. This patch will fix the issue. Note that there can be negative side effects when it's used without MSCIM.
For libgtk version 2.14.7-1maemo33+0m5, you can copy libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0.1400.7 to /usr/lib.
The original widget doesn't show past undone tasks, which can make the user miss important things to finish. This patch will show these tasks first and draw a red line before other events. Also, it will hide completed tasks instead of striking them. The patch includes fixes for the time shift bug.
For version 0.9.5, you can copy cal-home-widget.so to /usr/lib/hildon-desktop.
Erminig doesn't support alarms/reminders. This patch fixes this problem.
For 0.2.11, you can uncompress erminig-0.2.11.patched.tgz under /.
$ root $ cd / $ tar zxvf erminig-0.2.11.patched.tgz
This tarball replaces the following files:
/usr/share/erminig/Event.py /usr/share/erminig/cwrapper.py /usr/share/erminig/erminig_core.py /usr/share/erminig/libcalaccess.so
Also, note that Python Google Calendar API supports reminders only in the primary calendar, so you cannot sync reminders to non-primary calendars. One workaround for this limitation is to add reminders from non-primary Google calendars and sync them to N900.
