I found LyME very useful and powerful, so I really wanted to utilize this great "free" MATLAB clone to do something useful for my daily life. I'm wondering how software like LyME can be free of charge.
LyME has the capability of manipulating databases using its own simple syntax. It is really handy for creating/deleting/modifying records from an existing database. Here is my collection of LyME libraries.
Progect is a feature-rich open source outliner running on Palm. Although current development seems pretty much inactive, 0.30b6 and its PC counterpart, PDesk, are still usable. One caveat is, however, that syncing between Desktop and Handheld sometimes causes data file corruption unexpectedly. What I found regarding this issue is that deleting old *.pdk files from Palm\USER\Progect helps.
I found that it is somewhat slow to open a project that has many ToDo-linked tasks. In terms of speed, the Progect source code was not efficient when I took a look into it, so I decided to address this issue as much as I could. I've removed some duplicate function calls to reduce overhead and fixed the NVFS related problem that prevents writing cache back to the memory.
Please note that I didn't get any CreatorID for this modification, so installing this version will overwrite the original one.
